Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and discovered her love to sprint during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition she was ranked within the top two places in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. In 2003 Felix completed her high school graduation and signed a professional deal with the sports company Adidas before enrolling in the University of Southern California where she studied elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics, at Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by running 200m in 22.18 secs. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200m. She won the title in 2007. defended the title in front of her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently in the top three of athletes in her respective events.
