Rena Sofer

Rena Sherel was born on December 2, 1968 was an American actress. She is most well-known for her performances on the daytime network, as well as episodic guest appearances as well as made-for-television film. Sofer was given a Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her performance as Lois Cerullo on the soap opera General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap show The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2022.





 Early life



 Sofer was the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) She was an Orthodox Rabbi, and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).





 In 1970, Sofer moved in 1970 to Teaneck, New Jersey with her brother David and her father. At the time, Sofer was five years old, they remained in Western Pennsylvania. The family was brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was rabbi of Temple Beth El. Sofer graduated from North Bergen High School and then went on to Montclair State College.





 Career



 Television during the daytime



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played on General Hospital. In 1993, she was managing a band. But her first acclaim role was Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap drama Loving (1988-91).
